Maurice - Everything Is Floating
Maurice is an experimental rock / jazz band hailing from right here in The Windy. We go way back. I've had the pleasure of being their Wizard of Oz eighth member for many years. Everything Is Floating, the band's third release, has been my most rewarding. I developed a concept based on the hand-drawn logotype and they let me run wild. Note the line segments on the inside spread - those are the very pieces that, when combined, create the 'Maurice' on the cover. Nifty. Everything is floating, indeed.
