Hammerquist Invite
In year thirteen of their partnership, my mother and her man finally tied the knot. It was great fun to work with my parents and arrive at such a beautiful finished piece. Given the opportunity to use the Indiana University type shop one last time; and armed with photopolymer and a couple pieces of furniture, printing these was an incredible, yet admittedly bittersweet moment. I dearly miss the smell of rubber-based ink and the sound of Vandercooks rolling along. Oh yeah, turns out my parents aren't bad clients. And how bout that great ampersand and those cute curly brace birds? Good stuff all around.
